What it is
Acquisition finance funds the purchase of a business or a controlling stake. Structures layer senior debt, mezzanine, vendor loan notes and asset-backed lending to bridge the gap between your cash and the price. Lenders underwrite the target's cash flow, so EBITDA quality, customer concentration and the deal structure matter more than the headline multiple.
We work the debt from the acquirer's side. That means telling you when a deal does not fund as structured, and where a vendor loan note or an asset-backed layer reduces the cash you have to find. A management buyout is well understood by our panel and often prices better than a third-party purchase.
Who it suits
- You are buying a business and need debt structured around its cash flow.
- You want to reduce the cash deposit using vendor or asset-backed layers.
- You are leading a management buyout and need funding that recognises it.
- You want a broker who will say when the deal does not fund before you spend on advisers.

How it works with us
Conversation
One call to understand the deal, the timescale and the exit. You get a straight read on whether it funds before anything else happens.
Terms
Indicative terms within 24 hours, with the cost stated in pounds and the trade-offs named, so you decide before an application goes in.
Lender selection
We place it with the lender on our panel of over 165 that fits the case, not the one that pays us the most. Where a product is wrong for you, we say so.
Drawdown
We manage valuation, legals and conditions through to drawdown, and stay your single point of contact until the funds land.
Common questions
Typically 20% to 40% of enterprise value, though vendor loan notes and asset-backed layers frequently reduce the cash requirement.
